Each mentoring relationship is unique & customized—there's no one-size-fits-all approach. My clients come with diverse needs: some seek clarity about their purpose, others feel stuck with marketing decisions, & many need help defining their offerings or choosing where to focus their energy. Some struggle with imposter syndrome ("Who am I to do this?"), while others grapple with pricing their spiritual services.
from Dana, Founder & mentor
For the spiritual solopreneur
Are you called to do things differently in your spiritually oriented business, even when it feels uncertain?
Do you have those 3am moments of “am i crazy for doing this?”
Deep down, do you wonder if this calling & these feelings are really guidance “bread crumbs” dropped along the way?
I believe they are.
They’re telling you you’re on to something.
Like you, I'm a spiritual solopreneur who chose to go off-the-beaten path. I understand both the challenges & the sacred calling of this journey.
I’m here to say to you that you don’t have to walk this path alone. That’s why I offer Business Mentoring Sessions.
These sessions are different — they involve deep, trained listening & intuitive guidance, along with practical marketing strategies that go beyond traditional business coaching to help you:
Navigate the practical, spiritual, & emotional aspects of being in a solo business
Unbind from others’ ideas — & maybe even your own — of what business (& you in business) should be so you can free your authentic ways, gifts, talents — & yourself
Create practices & business/marketing to-dos that feel true to you — with success defined your way
Whether you're just starting out or evolving your existing business, we'll meet you where you are — & grow from there.
Think of me as your fellow traveler who’s a few steps ahead, has mapped out some of the territory, & is shining a light on this path. Someone who gets the “running a spiritual business in the material world” thing.
I believe that your outside-the-line coloring & rule-rewriting spirit — it’s your superpower.
I’d be honored to help you fully step into this — so that you & your business can thrive.
Let's walk this path side-by-side.
How This Works

Subsequent mentoring sessions might focus on areas of personal challenge for you &/or tasks that we’ve determined might help in your business, as well as anything in between that might bubble up during sessions be it spiritual, emotional, etc.
The common denominators I’ve noticed in those who work with me are that:
They are curious & willing to explore more than simply the nuts & bolts of being in business, with the willingness to work together to go deeper than action plans & to-do lists. To gently explore the underlay of narratives such as:
The internal voice that says, "I'm not cut out for business."
The external pressure to "Be more outgoing, more visible.”
The lingering question: "Is this really my purpose?"
In questioning the validity of their stories, they question inherited assumptions that hold them back — & tune into authentic feelings & needs. This isn't about quick fixes or surface-level changes.
They appreciate that I can listen to them so they can hear themselves. Meaning? They do more talking than I do. I create the space that allows their thoughts & feelings to unfold naturally. When needed, I offer gentle guidance to deepen the exploration.
This isn't about being told what to do. It's about discovering what you already know around bringing forth what might be unknown. Then, if you’re up for it — opening to further helpful ideas & practical tools to take you one step further in your business.
It’s your business; You get to define it however you want.
This type of business mentoring is for you if …
-
You're feeling overwhelmed & alone in your current business - or in trying to create one
Maybe you’ve taken an online marketing or business course (or two or three or …) but things just aren’t clicking for you. You have a list of “must dos” a mile long yet you’re not doing them!
“If only I had someone to talk to. Someone who gets how hard it is to really be in business —& get things done. Someone I can share & bounce around ideas with … Someone who is really doing this ‘being in business thing’ — certainly in a spiritually oriented way — & might be able to help me.”
-
You're weary from the way business in general & marketing in particular seem to work
All you seem to hear is: “Hustle, get out there, do x, y, & z then boom — you’ll be making money & your business will practically run itself!”
So you keep hustling, but nothing is truly working in the way you had hoped, & you feel crappy pushing yourself.
So it’s not from lack of trying — yet you continue to blame yourself, thinking "If I just tried harder..."
But here’s the thing: Trying harder doesn’t equal “success” when what you’re doing isn't being done in a way that is true to who you are & how you are constellated. It creates pain.
There is a different way.
You don’t need to be healed around your business & sharing what you love with the people who want what you’re offering (aka marketing). You need to be HEARD. Once you feel heard, everything changes. Because when you get to really hear yourself, you’ll know & trust what to do. It will just feel right.
-
You're frustrated with your impact -- aka, the money you're {not} making
You really balk at charging for your services & you detest talking fees with your clients — & your business bank account reflects this.
What is that shaky self-confidence & where does it come from, blocking you from moving with ease into these money conversations?Is there a part of you that has bought into cultural narrative that spiritual providers are poor;
have taken a vow of poverty;
should offer services for free?Yet, you know your services have value, they're needed, & they provide people with spiritual, healing, or creative sustenance.
Deep down you long for encouragement around this because these self-limiting beliefs & the inner critic are right there in your face, ready to zap your mojo.
Please repeat after me: “It’s okay to like money! It’s okay to earn money from my spiritual work.”

Featured Client: Naomi Rose
Naomi Rose is a book developer & creative midwife who helps women write the books of their heart.
In her own words, she “guides women over 50, healers, creatives, & spiritual seekers to unearth their gifts & give them to the world in the form of a book.”
She created her own process called “Writing from the Deeper Self”: “a soulful, process-based approach to writing a book that connects you with your unique, creative ways by . . . listening together …”
I’ve known Naomi for over a decade, so when she asked if she could hire me as her business mentor, I was surprised & delighted. She became a client after having worked over the years with multiple business coaches & guides, both online & through SCORE volunteers. Though they were all experts in one way or another, she shared, ”None of them really got who I am. This left me to my own devices, trying to make myself follow their scripts — join Facebook groups, further define my ‘brand,’ consider giving public talks, & so on. Eventually, I would just lose heart & stop working with them, seeing their approach to my situation as further proof that ‘I’m just not good at marketing, & I don’t even really want to do it’.”
After our first session, I sensed that while Naomi was no stranger to listening to her clients, she wasn’t fully used to being listened to by others around her work in a way that was meaningful & helpful to her. Just as importantly, she wasn’t listening to, or trusting, herself.
Through our sessions together, I asked careful, considered questions around what she felt was holding her back in her work in general & her outreach efforts in particular. Out of that came some revelatory answers for her to contemplate on her own & for us together to use to guide her way forward in a way that she could get behind wholeheartedly.
So what changed for Naomi in working this way?
She didn’t feel squished into a template or a spreadsheet of “to-dos” at the expense of her own authenticity. Why? Because we intentionally paid deep & respectful attention to who she was, where I listened to the underlay of what she was really saying & where old stories & wounds were tripping her up. Out of that, she — with some help — looked at these areas & deconstructed her conviction that she must turn herself into someone she was not in order to get her business & herself out in the world. Together, we aligned a few efforts with who she really is. The result?
Outcomes from Naomi’s mentoring sessions
Naomi is:
In process with a website professional to rework & enhance her website for a better user experience, with updated content & offerings. Hiring a web developer — something she’s been hesitant to do, feeling that she had to do everything herself — has given her some much-longed-for freedom to work on the creative aspects of growing her offerings — along with her revenue & reach.
Launching three new group offerings in January 2025, thus stepping more fully into group work, an area she’s been resistant to embrace fully. While still staying within her “safe” comfort zone of 1:1 client work, Naomi is now moving into a “one to many” approach.
Even more confident about her deeper purpose & eager to bring the work out in a way that will speak to her ideal clients & will also be true to who she is, to her being.
“Having a mentoring session with Dana is like sitting with a spiritual wise person—calm, accepting, comforting, able to see into things—who also knows a boatload about the ins and outs of business, including a spiritually based business. I felt seen, and able to better see myself. And out of this, I felt eager to dive in, to explore the business-related steps that had emerged out of our conversation and begin putting them into action, because these steps emerged out of Dana’s and my deeper exploration, rather than being tacked on or presented as a one-size-fits-all template.”

Got questions?
-
By our “definition,” a spiritual solopreneur is someone who runs their business independently, bringing their whole heart & soul into every aspect of their work.
Unlike traditional business owners or even conscious entrepreneurs, they weave spirituality & perhaps even their own spiritual practice seamlessly into their business offerings - there's little separation between their spiritual life & their work life.
What makes them unique is that they get to define this spiritual connection in their own authentic way, whether that means incorporating meditation, energy work, intuitive practices, or whatever else resonates with them.At the core of their business is a genuine desire to create positive change, knowing that their work, their spirit, & their impact on others are all beautifully interconnected.
They’re not only building a business; they’re creating a sacred space where their gifts can serve the greater good.
-
No. These are two separate offerings.
The Meet-UP, our monthly online membership community, is for those who would like additional support & more accountability. It’s also for those who desire to be in community & in dedicated working space in order to get “stuff” done in that gathering time.
-
Yes. But in a different way.
You don’t need to be healed around your business & sharing what you love with the people who want what you’re offering (aka marketing).
You need to be HEARD.And that’s how marketing enters into Mentoring Sessions — by us listening to you together around how you feel around marketing, what might be tripping you up, why certain things might not have worked well for you in the past. Or, why you don’t even want to “do” marketing.
Therefore, there is a marketing element to the mentoring sessions. Yet there are no templates & I will never tell you what to do. I will offer solid, practical, proven suggestions if wanted & warranted.
-
No. Each solopreneur’s need is different. This is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Mentoring sessions are personalized & highly customized. When we meet for a discovery call, we’ll see what you need. Most clients require at least three sessions in order to see some tangible results.
I will offer my suggestion based upon your needs & goals, but ultimately the choice is yours.

We gather biweekly for 2 hours on Zoom. Each meet-up includes a check-in around how members are doing & what they’re working on, a centering practice, followed by dedicated work time, where members stay online & work “together.” After the work time is an optional reporting in about how the experience was & a time for questions to tap into the group’s wisdom. Before departing, each member is asked to make a list of three items they will commit to working on in between meetings, which are encouraged to be shared with the facilitator for added (compassionate) accountability.
Then we close.
